Meeting #2 (in person or virtual):

• Bring your favorite old pics, videos, and any other memorable artifacts that have been an important part of your life to help support your documentary.

• Sort, discuss and choose favorite stories, hobbies, interview subjects & shooting locations.

• Scan and digitize (at your residence) chosen photos/videos for story.

• Commence rough scriptwriting.

• 1st payment (33.3%) now due.

• Sign MiSTORY business contract.

• Convert and touch up chosen pictures and videos.

• Final scriptwriting: Organize chapters and interview questions.

• Scout locations and prepare cameras and lighting.

On Location:

• Sign Model and Property Release documents for video interviews and B-roll.

• Film interviews of subject, family and friends.

• Shoot B-roll of home, work, hobbies and other relevant scenes to support your story.

Meeting #3 (in person or virtual):

• Review raw footage. Choose favorites

• Film additional B-roll if needed.

• Discuss preferred music style for editing.

• 2nd payment (33.3%) now due.

Post-Production:

• Compile and organize preferred raw interviews and B-roll.

• Add digitized photos with motion to video.

• Add B-roll footage, titles and additional media.

• Stabilize and color grade video.

• Add and edit background music.

• Create rough draft of MiSTORY movie for review.

Meeting #4 (in person or virtual):

• View and discuss any final touch ups.

• Final payment now due (33.3%).

Post-Production:

• Final edits and corrections.

• Encoding and mastering of your MiSTORY movie.

• Transfer movie to YouTube, cloud or flash drive.

• Create home player DVD with menu (Additional $325 fee).

Meeting #5:

• Deliver and review final movie.

• Delivery of all of your enhanced digitized home photos and videos.

• Choose pics and other content for us to build your personal MiSTORY web page.

• Choose photos for written memoir, photobook or canvas print (if add-ons selected).

• Full length written memoir in print and digital version added to your MiSTORY web page, transcribed from raw interview footage.

• 20-50 page coffee table hard cover photobook of your favourite pictures.

• 8x10 digital picture/video frame with built in speakers. MiSTORY movie and chosen pics installed.

• Large framed canvas print of chosen family photo for the living room wall.

MiSTORY web page construction:

• We'll compile and build your very own MiSTORY web page. Viewed at MiSTORY.ca/yourname (password encrypted unless you choose to make public). Watch movie, read memoir, view pics and other media on this online scrapbook. Family can connect directly or link to any of your social media platforms. See Joe's personal portfolio sample.

• MiSTORY.ca is an EV-SSL certificate webspace (bidirectional encryption of communications between a client and server).
